 BILINGUAL WELDING ASSISTANT

Location: Nationwide Travel (United States); must be local to or within driving distance of the Poolville, TX office for in-office needs

Pay: $17-$22 per hour, depending on experience and certifications

Schedule: Full-Time (40–65 hours per week)

Travel Requirement: 90% travel

*Local Requirement: Candidate must live close enough to drive to the Poolville office when in-office support, meetings, training, or check-ins are needed.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Bilingual Welding Assistant to support our welding and metal building crews with hands-on job site work, welding preparation, material support, job site organization, daily communication, and basic field documentation.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, bilingual in English and Spanish, and interested in growing within the welding, metal building, and construction industry. One year or more of related experience is preferred, and welding certifications are a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist welders, leads, and crew members with welding, fabrication, and metal building support tasks as directed.
• Prepare, move, stage, organize, and track materials, tools, and equipment needed for daily job site work.
• Support welding preparation and fit-up work, including cleaning, grinding, measuring, positioning, and assisting as needed.
• Help with job site communication, photo updates, daily reporting, safety documentation, and coordination with supervisors, office staff, and job site contacts.
• Follow all safety procedures and help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the job site.
• Help keep work moving by supporting crew needs, job site readiness, task follow-up, and general site organization.

REQUIREMENTS
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• One year or more of welding, fabrication, construction, or related field experience preferred
• Welding certifications preferred
• Ability to safely lift, carry, stand, bend, climb, and work in active job site conditions
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a crew, and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors

PAY & BENEFITS
• $17-$22 per hour, based on experience and certifications
